Which Week Is the Busiest for PCB Spring Break? (Week 3, and Here’s the Data)

Ask ten people which week is the busiest for spring break in Panama City Beach and you’ll get ten confident answers. We have something better than confidence: two full seasons of PCB Club Card sales.

The short answer

Week 3 — in 2027, that’s March 13 – 19. It isn’t close.

What the numbers look like

In the 2026 season, weekly party-pass sales broke down roughly like this:

  • Week 3: about 4 in 10 of all weekly passes sold
  • Week 2: about 3 in 10
  • Week 4: about 1 in 10
  • Week 1: a rounding error

The 2025 season showed the same shape with smaller totals. Two years, same peak, same order. That’s a pattern, not a fluke.

Why Week 3 wins

School calendars. The big Florida universities, most of Georgia and Alabama, and a good chunk of the SEC all land in the second and third weeks of March. When a few hundred thousand students share a window, the beach that’s a day’s drive from all of them fills up.

What “busiest” means in practice

  • Lodging: the condos people actually want are gone months ahead. If you’re reading this in the fall and want Week 3, book now.
  • Lines: longer at the door, longer at the bar, longer for rideshares at 2 a.m. A party card that includes entry is worth more in Week 3 than any other week.
  • Traffic on Front Beach Road: plan on walking or rideshares in the evening. Moving a car between 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. is a mistake.
  • Beach: packed near the club district, thinner as you move east or west. If you want space, walk ten minutes.

Is Week 3 right for you?

If you want the maximum version of spring break, yes. If your group is smaller, more budget-conscious, or just doesn’t love a two-hour line, Week 2 gets you most of the energy with noticeably less friction, and Week 4 is quieter still while keeping a full event calendar.

The other thing the data says

Nearly everyone buys their party card after they arrive. Nine out of ten passes sell in March, on-site. That’s fine for tickets, but don’t treat lodging the same way. Rooms don’t work like that.
