Week 4 in Panama City Beach: The Quieter Option

Week 4 of PCB spring break — March 20 to 26, 2027 — is the most underrated week on the calendar. The event lineup is intact, the weather is the season’s best on average, and the crowd is a fraction of peak. Here’s the case for it.

What the data says

Week 4 passes sell at roughly a quarter of Week 3’s volume. That’s still a real crowd — thousands of people — but it means shorter lines, available boats, and a beach with room.

What’s the same

• The theme-party rotation: foam, paint, glow, Pardi Gras, the works. The Club Card venues run the full week.
• The PCB Club Card works exactly the same way.
• Everything on the water is running, and easier to book.

What’s better

• Weather. Warmest average week of the season. Water that’s fine by early afternoon.
• Lodging. Meaningfully easier to book than Weeks 2 and 3, and you can often get the zone you want. See what’s open.
• Logistics. Rideshares show up. The 2 a.m. surge is smaller.

What’s different

• Fewer schools, so a slightly different mix: more late-breaking campuses, more non-student travelers.
• Some specials and headliners land in Weeks 2 and 3; check the Week 4 page for the confirmed lineup.
• The last weekend of the week has an end-of-season feel — some people love that.

Who should pick Week 4

Schools that break late March, groups that prefer a good time to a maximal one, anyone booking after January, and anyone whose group is split between “party” and “beach.” It’s the week where both halves of that group are happy.

And Week 5?
