Where it is and how to get there

Fred’s is in the club district. If you are staying anywhere near the central stretch of Front Beach Road you can walk; if not, rideshare there and sort your ride home before the 2 a.m. rush. Walkable lodging and getting around without a car cover the options.

What to wear and bring

• Clothes you do not mind getting a drink spilled on, and shoes you can dance in. Flip-flops fail.
• A valid photo ID. Do not bring anything you cannot afford to lose; a small waterproof pouch for your phone is cheap insurance.
• A layer for the walk home; March nights get cool.

Getting in

Entry is run by PCB Club Card. Their Fred’s Card ($80) lists free entry 8 to 10 PM at Fred’s, and the Platinum ($100) and Ultimate ($200) cards cover more. See the PCB Club Card options for what each includes. The age rule is the same everywhere: 18+ to enter with valid photo ID, 21+ to drink with valid photo ID.

Tips from people who have done it

1. Go earlier than you think, especially in peak week.
2. Stay hydrated. It is hot in there.
3. Pick a meeting point outside in case your group splits up.
4. Do not bring your good sunglasses.
