What Week 2 is like
Crowds arrive fast. The club district is alive every night, the full theme-party rotation is running — foam, paint, glow, Pardi Gras — and the beach fills without becoming a fight. About three in ten weekly passes are Week 2, which makes it big without being peak.
Weather
Warming. Afternoons around 70, nights in the mid-50s. More reliably beachable than Week 1; still one front in the mix some years.
Lodging
Tight. Book by early December for real choice; after January you're choosing from what's left. Central beach within a mile is the sweet spot. See what's open.
